Proverbs 3:5-8
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Be not wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord, and turn away from evil. It will be healing to your flesh and refreshment to your bones."

About Me

My Photo
Name: Tai Sophia
Location: Somewhere, Pennsylvania, United States

My NEW Blog is: www.beggarlybouquet.com -- I am not famous. My parents are not famous. My grandparents are not famous. In fact, the only famous person in our family line might be the western outlaw: Belle Starr. But something my great-grandparents, grandparents, and now my parents have passed down to me is the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. This blog is a small effort on my part to pass what I am learning as I follow after Him on to you, and to use what He has given me to bring glory to His name. (Wow. Apparently my profile page has been viewed over 3,000 times!)

The Race

  • Today the Mansfield cross-country team raced Wellsboro - the team who came in 2nd at the last PA invitational tournament. Cassie came out to see Ben run! It was quite the race, but Mansfield did well despite the odds...and despite the fact that the first three places were given to Wellsboro. Ben came in at 21:53 and 4th place for his team, breaking his previous home track record.
    Go Ben!

    Here are some photos:

    Ready...set...

Go! And they're off! Can you find Ben's head?

Coming around on the first lap.

    Upon the dike...like the wind...

The finish line is in sight.

He wouldn't LOOK at the camera. Alas.

Well, my friends...I hope this post has inspired you to greater vision.
    ;)

    Farewell.

4 days before his race I ran a 10k! I know this comment is kind of late, but better sooner than later! What was the distance he ran? God bless you week!

Hey Jon! Well, it was a 3.1 mile race...but I forget how long that is in kilometers.
*sheepish grin*
He also shaved down his time by the end few races to 20:52 I believe.

Have a great week as well!
God Bless!
